Rome, 27 June (LaPresse) – The draw for the women's singles at Wimbledon has been made. The second Grand Slam of the season gets underway on Monday on the grass courts of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, with a record prize fund of £53.5 million (€62.7 million) up for grabs. Three Italian players are in the competition: Jasmine Paolini, finalist twelve months ago, drawn in the top half of the draw, headed by world tennis queen Aryna Sabalenka, Lucia Bronzetti and Elisabetta Cocciaretto, drawn in the bottom half, alongside Roland Garros champion Coco Gauff.
