Milan, June 26 (LaPresse) – Four arrests have been made by the Digos unit of the Salerno police headquarters following the clashes that occurred during the return leg of the Serie B relegation playoff match between Salernitana and Sampdoria on Sunday, June 22.
The match was suspended at 0-2 in favor of the Blucerchiati.
The individuals arrested are four Salernitana supporters aged 27, 23, 26, and 31, who are accused of throwing firecrackers and stadium seats onto the pitch. Among them is also the suspected attacker of a steward.
Procedures have also begun to issue Daspo bans (preventing them from attending sporting events).
