Rome, 22 June (LaPresse) – Juventus beat Wydad Casablanca 4-1 on the second day of the group stage of the Club World Cup, securing their place in the round of 16. The Bianconeri got off to a flying start, taking the lead in the 6th minute thanks to an own goal by Boutouil, who deflected a shot by Yildiz. In the 16th minute, the Turkish playmaker produced a masterpiece, receiving a pass from Cambiaso and striking the ball powerfully from outside the box to beat the opposing goalkeeper. In the 25th minute, the Moroccans reduced the deficit with Lorch beating Di Gregorio with a chip shot after an assist from Amrabat. In the second half, another masterpiece from Yildiz made it 3-1: in the 69th minute, Kolo Muani set up the Turkish player, who cut inside, beat the defence and the goalkeeper and slotted the ball into the net. In stoppage time, the fourth goal came from a penalty kick won by substitute Dusan Vlahovic, who then converted.
