Rome, 21 June (LaPresse) – Pole position for Marc Marquez in the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello. The Spaniard riding a Ducati clocked a time of 1'44"169 in qualifying. This is a new record for MotoGP on the Tuscan track. Marquez is the first rider since 1971 to achieve 100 pole positions in his career, considering all categories. Francesco Bagnaia finished second, 59 thousandths behind, with Alex Marquez third, just 83 thousandths behind.
