Milan, June 19 (LaPresse) – Roland Garros champion Carlos Alcaraz faced more difficulty than expected but reached the quarterfinals of the ATP Queen’s Club tournament on the grass courts of London. The Spaniard, top seed, defeated compatriot Jaume Munar, ranked No. 59 ATP, in three sets with a score of 6-4, 6-7 (7), 7-5 after 3 hours and 26 minutes of play.
In the quarterfinals, Alcaraz will face the winner of the match between American Reilly Opelka and Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech.
