Milan, June 10 (LaPresse) – Joaquín Correa is Botafogo's latest signing. The Brazilian club "has officially signed the Argentine striker. The player has signed a contract until the end of 2027." At 30 years of age, Tucu Correa, as he is known for being born in the province of Tucumán, was discovered by Estudiantes and has played in European football for the last 10 seasons, where he played for Sampdoria, Sevilla, Lazio, Inter, and Olympique Marseille. For the national team, Correa has played 19 games and scored four goals for Argentina, winning the Copa América in 2021 in Brazil. The player arrives on a free transfer after ending his contract with the Nerazzurri. Correa, who will wear the number 30 jersey, will join the Botafogo delegation already in the United States for the FIFA Club World Cup.
