Turin, June 3 (LaPresse) – "We weren’t worried about the cruciate ligament, and the MRI has confirmed that. As of today, we can rule out further surgery on the ligament. That doesn’t mean everything is perfect — Federica suffered a serious injury — but the cruciate is doing well. We won’t operate, and now the next step begins."
This was stated by Andrea Panzeri, president of the FISI medical commission, during a press conference at J Medical, where Federica Brignone is undergoing rehabilitation after the injury she sustained two months ago during the Italian Championships.
