Rome, June 3 (LaPresse) – Aryna Sabalenka defeated Chinese player Qinwen Zheng in straight sets, 7-6 (7-3), 6-3, and advanced to the semifinals of Roland Garros, the second Grand Slam tournament of the season.
The Belarusian, currently ranked world No. 1 in the WTA rankings, is the first semifinalist of the tournament.
