Paris, May 31 (LaPresse) – Flavio Cobolli's run at Roland Garros ends in the third round, the second Grand Slam of the season played on the clay courts of Paris. The Italian lost in straight sets to world number 3 Alexander Zverev, with a score of 6-2, 7-6 (4), 6-1 in two hours and 33 minutes. The German won just one more point (15 to 14) in rallies over nine shots, but 24 more (61 to 37) in rallies of four shots or fewer. This marks Zverev’s eighth consecutive appearance in the second week of Roland Garros. Now standing between him and the quarterfinals is Tallon Griekspoor (No. 35), who emerged from a five-set battle against American Ethan Quinn (No. 106).
