Rome, May 30 (LaPresse) – Liverpool has officially announced the signing of Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen. The Dutch international signed a long-term contract with the Reds at the AXA Training Centre on Friday, after successfully completing his medical examination. Speaking to LiverpoolFC.com for the first time, Frimpong said: “It was pretty easy. Liverpool came and said they were interested, and of course, I didn’t think twice.” “Liverpool fans, I will give it my all, and hopefully we can win together and celebrate together. I’m just thrilled to be here. Thank you guys for accepting me – I won’t let you down and I’ll bring you the energy you’re looking for,” the Dutch defender added.
