Turin, May 28 (LaPresse) – Honda HRC Castrol rider Luca Marini hospitalized after crash during Suzuka 8 Hours test
Luca Marini, rider for Honda HRC Castrol, was hospitalized following a serious crash during testing ahead of the Suzuka 8 Hours race, the Japanese manufacturer announced. During the second day of tests, Marini suffered a dislocated left hip, ligament damage to his left knee, fractures to his sternum and left clavicle, and a right pneumothorax. He was taken to the hospital and stabilized, and will remain in Japan until doctors authorize him to travel.
