Milan, 20 May (LaPresse) – Dutch rider Daan Hoole won stage 10 of the 108th edition of the Giro d'Italia, a 28.6 km time trial from Lucca to Pisa. The Lidl-Trek rider started early and avoided the slippery and dangerous asphalt caused by heavy rain, finishing in 32'30‘ to beat Englishman Joshua Tarling (Ineos Grenadiers) by just +0.07’ and fellow Brit Ethan Hayter (Soudal Quick-Step) by +0.10’. Mexican Isaac del Toro (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) retains the pink jersey.
