F1, Emilia Romagna GP: Verstappen triumphs. Hamilton fourth

Milan, May 18 (LaPresse) – Max Verstappen, driving for Red Bull, won the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at the Imola circuit. The Dutch driver, reigning world champion, finished ahead of the two McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. An excellent fourth place for Lewis Hamilton in the Ferrari, who staged a great comeback, finishing ahead of Alexander Albon in the Williams. However, the positions of the two Ferraris are under investigation by the stewards due to a maneuver by Charles Leclerc, who finished sixth, during an overtaking attempt on Albon. This marks Verstappen’s fourth consecutive victory at Imola. Italian skiing champion Federica Brignone waved the checkered flag at the finish line.
