Rome, May 18 (LaPresse) – Gold medal for Italy’s women’s race walking team at the European Team Championships in Podebrady.
Italy triumphed in the 35 km team event, led by Antonella Palmisano, who finished second individually with a new Italian record of 2:39:35 in her debut at this distance. Nicole Colombi secured third place with a personal best of 2:41:47, and Federica Curiazzi came in fifth with a time of 2:45:39.
