Football: Real Madrid officially signs former Juventus player Huijsen

Milan, May 17 (LaPresse) – Real Madrid has officially announced the signing of Spanish-Dutch centre-back Dean Huijsen for next season. The 20-year-old, born in April 2005 and standing 1.97 meters tall, joins from Bournemouth.
The Spanish giants did not negotiate with the English club, as they triggered the player’s release clause, estimated at €59.3 million, paid in three instalments.
According to Marca, about 10% of the capital gain will go to Juventus, Huijsen’s former club.
Bournemouth had paid Juve €15 million (plus €3 million in bonuses) for him last summer. With Real Madrid now paying the €59 million clause, the English side earns a capital gain of €44 million — of which Juve will receive 10%, roughly €4.4 million.
