Rome, May 16 (LaPresse) – Both men's semifinals of the Internazionali d'Italia in Rome will be broadcast live – and exclusively free-to-air – on Rai1. The schedule at the Foro Italico, which welcomes two Italians in the semifinals for the first time in 68 years (the last time was in 1957, with Nicola Pietrangeli and Beppe Merlo, who later faced each other in the final), will kick off at 3:30 PM with the match between Lorenzo Musetti and Carlos Alcaraz. This will be their sixth head-to-head, with the Spaniard leading 4–1. It’s a rematch of last month’s Monte Carlo Masters 1000 final, where Musetti lost in three sets.

At 8:30 PM, Jannik Sinner will take the court against American Tommy Paul. The world number one, who impressed in the quarterfinals by demolishing Norway’s Casper Ruud in just over an hour, leads the head-to-head 3–1. However, tonight’s match will be their first on clay.
Both matches, Musetti–Alcaraz and Sinner–Paul, will be commentated by Marco Fiocchetti and Omar Camporese, with studio analysis from Maurizio Fanelli, Adriano Panatta, and Rita Grande.
