Rome, May 16 (LaPresse) – "This team, when complete, is strong and can fight against anyone." This is what Igor Tudor, Juventus’ coach, said during a press conference ahead of Sunday night’s match in Turin against Udinese.
Tudor also spoke about individual players. Dusan Vlahovic, he explained, "is an important player who had some physical problems. Now he’s back and will give us great help." Meanwhile, Kenan Yildiz "has suffered a lot. He’s a key player for our squad. I told him not to feel the pressure to make up for things and just focus on the game, doing what he has to do and knows how to do."
For Tudor, it’s "difficult" to talk about his own work. "In my opinion, we have done a good job given all the problems we’ve had," he noted. "It’s fair to say that we never had Gatti and Koopmeiners, and only had Cambiaso and Kelly sporadically. We even played two matches with only 10 players, which is not easy."
The Juventus coach still wanted to “congratulate the guys who gave their all.”
