Rome, May 12 (LaPresse) – Atalanta beat Roma 2-1 in a match valid for the 36th round of the Serie A season and have mathematically secured qualification for the next Champions League. The Bergamo side now have 71 points, making them unreachable for Juventus and Lazio, who are tied in fourth place with 64 points and only two matches left to play. Roma, instead, remain stuck at 63 points.
Lookman opened the scoring in the 9th minute. Ranieri’s team equalized through Cristante in the 32nd minute, but the decisive goal for Atalanta came in the 76th minute, scored by Sulemana.
