Rome, 12 May (LaPresse) – Matteo Berrettini retired after the second game of the second set against Norway's Casper Ruud in their third-round match at the Internazionali di Roma. The Italian, who is recovering from an abdominal problem, had to leave the court. Berrettini lost the first set 7-5 and the Norwegian was leading 2-0 in the second set. ‘Sorry Matteo, feel better,’ Ruud wrote on the camera lens. On Monday evening, Berrettini played doubles with his brother Jacopo, losing to Musetti and Sonego.
