Milan, 11 May (LaPresse) – It was plain sailing for Alexander Zverev in his second match at the Italian Open tennis tournament on the clay courts of the Foro Italico in Rome. The German, world number two and top seed, reached the last 16 thanks to a clear victory over Lithuanian Vilius Gaubas 6-4, 6-0. In the round of 16, Zverev will face France's Arthur Fils. The surprise of the day, however, was the victory of another Frenchman, Corentin Moutet, who defeated Denmark's Holger Rune (9) 7-5, 5-7, 7-6 (4).
