Milan, 11 May (LaPresse) – An unstoppable Mads Pedersen also won the third stage of the 2025 Giro d'Italia, the 160 km Valona-Valona, the last stage in Albania. The Danish rider from Lidl-Trek sprinted ahead of New Zealand's Corbin Strong from Israel and Venezuela's Oluis Aular from Movistar. Thanks to the time bonuses, Pedersen also regained the pink jersey as race leader, taking it from Slovenia's Primoz Roglic from Red Bull Bora-Hansgrohe. Tomorrow is the first rest day for the riders, who will then transfer to Italy. On Tuesday, the fourth stage from Alberobello to Lecce, covering 189.0 km, is scheduled, providing another opportunity for the sprinters.
