Turin, 5 May (LaPresse) – AC Milan beat Genoa 2-1 in a comeback in the 35th Serie A match of the Serie A Week and climbed to 57 points, two points behind eighth-placed Fiorentina. The Grifone, on the other hand, suffered their third defeat in a row and remain stuck on 39. It all happened in the second half: Vitinha unblocked the result in the 16th minute of the second half, a minute after coming on, with a volley on Martin's precise cross. The visitors' reaction was immediate and they turned the game around within two minutes. Rafael Leao, who came on in the middle of the first half in place of the injured Fofana, first equalised in the 31st minute on an assist from Gimenez and then helped Frendrup's own goal, as he tried to anticipate Joao Felix and put the ball past Leali.
