Tennis, Sinner: "I had lost the fun, but I'm coming back with a different mindset"

Rome, April 29 (LaPresse) – “We train so much to enjoy ourselves when we play a good match, but I felt that the fun was fading day by day,” which, he said, “is not how a player should feel.”
That’s how Jannik Sinner spoke in a preview of the interview given to Tg1 director Gian Marco Chiocci, to be aired this evening after the 8 PM edition, discussing his decision to settle the Clostebol case.
Looking ahead to the Internazionali d’Italia in Rome, the world number one said he is “very happy to be back on court, especially in Rome, a special tournament for me. But certainly with a different mindset,” Sinner added.
“See you in Rome, hopefully we’ll be ready to be there, but I’m really happy to return to Rome — there’s no more beautiful place. We’ll be there very soon, not just me, but the whole Italian team, which is amazing. We’re expecting great support,” Sinner concluded.
