Milan, April 27 (LaPresse) – The unstoppable Tadej Pogacar once again dominated and won the 111th edition of Liège–Bastogne–Liège, the final Monument classic of the Northern campaign. For the Slovenian, it is his third victory in the Belgian classic, and his second consecutive one, following his triumphs in 2021 and 2024. On the 252 km course, starting and finishing in the Belgian city, the Team Emirates star controlled the race before launching a devastating attack on the Côte de la Redoute, about 30 km from the finish line. Pogacar crossed the line solo, with a lead of around 1 minute and 2 seconds over an extraordinary Giulio Ciccone of Lidl-Trek, who won a small sprint against Ireland’s Ben Healy of EF.
