Milan, April 26 (LaPresse) – A strong start for Lorenzo Musetti at the Mutua Madrid Open, the Masters 1000 event on clay courts taking place at the Caja Mágica in Madrid. The Carrara-born tennis player, world number 11 and 10th seed, qualified for the third round thanks to a debut victory over Argentine Marcos Etcheverry, ranked 51st ATP, with a score of 7-6 (3), 6-2 in 1 hour and 48 minutes of play. In the next round, the Italian will face the winner of the match between Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and German Jan-Lennard Struff.
