Rome, April 12 (LaPresse) – Marc Marquez dominated the Sprint Race in Qatar, crossing the finish line first, more than a second and a half ahead of his brother Alex. Franco Morbidelli secured third place, while just off the podium were Spanish rider Fermín Aldeguer in fourth and Frenchman Fabio Quartararo in fifth. Francesco Bagnaia finished eighth, recovering from an 11th-place start after crashing during qualifying. Despite the setback, Bagnaia managed to climb up to eighth place during the Sprint race.
