Turin, 11 Apr. (LaPresse) – Marc Marquez was the fastest on the track in the first free practice session of the Qatar MotoGp Grand Prix. The Ducati rider stopped the clock at 152‘288, more than half a second ahead of all his rivals, starting with Fabio Di Giannantonio (+0’513) and his team mate Francesco Bagnaia (+0"583). Fourth place for the Ducati of the Gresini team of Alex Marquez, current world championship leader, 0.0657 of a second behind his brother. Twentieth position for Jorge Martin, returning after the injury at the beginning of the season that prevented him from participating in the first three races, over 1.8 seconds behind Marc Marquez.
