Turin, April 6 (LaPresse) – Tadej Pogacar has won the 2025 edition of the Tour of Flanders. The Slovenian cyclist, already winner of the 'Ronde Van Vlaanderen' in 2023, won solo after dropping his direct rivals on the Paterberg after a series of repeated attacks. For the captain of the UAE Team Emirates, this is his eighth victory in a 'monument classic'. Mads Pedersen (Lidl Trek) finished second in the sprint, beating Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck), Wout Van Aert (Visma Lease a Bike) and his teammate Jasper Stuyven, who finished fifth.
