Rome, 28th Mar. (LaPresse) – Michela Moioli triumphs at the Snowboardcross World Championships in St. Moritz and definitively enters the legend of the sport: after winning three World Cups and the 2018 Olympic title, the Bergamo native has won the only title that was still missing in her enormous career in the Engadine. And she did it at the peak of a season that was becoming complicated: on the most important day of the winter, however, Moioli found the grit, determination, technique and courage to get in front of everyone and narrowly beat Britain's Charlotte Bankes for the gold, with France's Julia Pereira De Sousa forced to settle for bronze. For Italy this is the second world title in SBX history after that won by Luca Matteotti in 2015.
