Rome, 28 Mar. (LaPresse) – ’The NBA in Europe? It's a project that has already started on its way, FIBA is our parent organisation. The NBA is everyone's dream and it would be an important agreement. The FIP is Fiba, when Fiba does something the Federation can't disagree, it's a fascinating project, it's been talked about all over Europe for some time now so it means it's important’. So said the president of Federbasket Gianni Petrucci in a statement to LaPresse regarding the European NBA project. ’Will Italian teams be involved? I can't be top of the class – Petrucci explains – but let's not forget that we are Italy. The timing? It's just started, I can't predict it, I can say that we are in line with Garbajosa, president of Fiba Europe, we are also waiting for proposals’.
