Rome, 27 Mar. (LaPresse) – Mikaela Shiffrin wins the 101st victory of her career in the final slalom of the Women's World Cup, but it is the Croatian Zrinka Ljutic who wins the specialty cup for the first time, at the age of just 20. Shiffrin finished with a time of 1'45‘92, 1’13 ahead of the second placed German, Lena Duerr, and just one hundredth of a second ahead of the third placed Slovenian, Andreja Slokar. The score that awards the speciality cup is 541 points for Ljutic, ahead of Katharina Liensberger's 509 and Camille Rast's 492. For Italy there is the 18th place of Lara Della Mea, who recovers a couple of positions in the second run, but doesn't score any points. Martina Peterlini, on the other hand, had started in the first run.
