Milan, March 25 (LaPresse) – A sensational Federica Brignone has also won the giant slalom title, after claiming the overall and downhill titles, crowning an unforgettable season. Following the exit of New Zealand’s Alice Robinson in the first run of the final giant slalom of the season at the Sun Valley finals, the Italian skier only needed to finish second. She ended up just +0.14 behind Switzerland’s Lara Gut, who won with a total time of 2'10"01. Sweden’s Sara Hector took third place at +0.80. Sofia Goggia did not finish the second run but still secured third place in the overall standings. Giorgia Collomb finished 14th at +5.48.
