Rome, Mar 20 (LaPresse) – The Nba gives another record-breaking story. Protagonist Aleksandre ‘Sandro’ Mamukelashvili, Georgian with U.S. citizenship of 25 years of the San Antonio Spurs, who grew up in Biella, n what was one of the best Italian youth sectors. In the 120-105 win over the New York Knicks, he made 13 of 14 shots in just 19 minutes, becoming the first player in NBA history to score 34 points playing less than 20 minutes. These are Mamukelashvili's record numbers: 13/14 shooting, 7/7 from three, 6/7 from two, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and zero turnovers. Growing up in the youth sector of Pallacanestro Biella, in 2016 he transferred to the Montverde Academy where he played one year of high school. In 2017, thanks to a scholarship, he moved on to Seton Hall University, where he played his collegiate career. In the 2021 NBA Draft, he was selected with the 54th overall pick by the Milwaukee Bucks.
