Milan, March 17 (LaPresse) – “It has been such an exciting and unbelievable season for me; I don't even know how to describe it. The other day I won at home in La Thuile, and it was one of the best moments of my career. The slope they dedicated to me in Courmayeur? It’s a red one, but it has nice walls, and there are no easy slopes in Courmayeur. It’s all in the sun, and we even had races there when I was a little younger.” This is how Federica Brignone described her season on Che tempo che fa on channel NOVE.
On her current form: “Our sport is dangerous and requires a good connection with your equipment. In the end, trusting in such a dangerous sport is not something to take for granted. I’m a bit of a control freak, and if I’m not in control, I don’t take more risks. I’ve always known what I was doing. I go at my maximum: I know my limit and try to raise it constantly. Right now, I have a great feeling. In general, I’m not afraid, and I do a lot of dangerous sports, in fact, I really enjoy them. But I’m someone who needs to know what I’m doing. I’ve always tried to raise the bar, and right now I trust myself in difficult conditions, where maybe others wouldn’t trust: I’m always in control, but also very fast.”
