Turin, Mar 17 (LaPresse) – Not even the time to arrive in the Clairefontaine training camp that Marcus Thuram is already forced to go back. The Inter forward, called up by France coach Didier Deschamps, has left the national team's training camp due to an ankle injury that has been with him for several weeks. The player ‘suffering from recurring pain in his ankle was examined by Dr Franck Le Gall before undergoing tests’, reads a note from the French football federation. The Nerazzurri striker is unlikely to be replaced. The Bleus will return to the pitch for the Nations League quarter-finals against Croatia, matches scheduled for Thursday 20 March and Sunday 20 March.
