Turin, 1 Mar. (LaPresse) – The match between Atalanta and Venezia at the Gewiss Stadium, valid for matchday 27 of Serie A, ended goalless. The home team dominated for most of the match and came close to scoring on several occasions, in particular in the 26th minute with Retegui's header narrowly missing the target, and in the 39th minute with Zappacosta hitting the post after a great move by Lookman. Before the interval Zerbin had a chance – following a mistake by Zappacosta – but he didn't surprise Carnesecchi with a lob. After two more attempts at the start of the second half by Retegui and De Ketelaere, Atalanta slowed down and was no longer particularly dangerous. With this draw, Gasperini's team has now reached 55 points, temporarily two points behind leaders Inter, while the team from Veneto has 18 points, five points away from safety.
