Milan, January 28 (LaPresse) – After defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers, leaders of the Eastern Conference, twice last week, the Houston Rockets claimed another victory in the NBA night. Overturning a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter, they defeated the defending champions Boston Celtics 114-112. Amen Thompson was decisive, scoring 33 points, including the game-winning basket with less than a second remaining.

In Miami, the Heat beat the Orlando Magic 125-119 after two overtimes, with Herro shining with 30 points and 12 assists. The New York Knicks crushed the Memphis Grizzlies 143-106, with 28 points from Bridges. The Cavaliers ended their three-game losing streak by defeating the Pistons 110-91, with 4 points and 3 rebounds from Italian player Fontecchio for Detroit.

In the Western Conference, the Phoenix Suns secured their eighth win in 10 games, narrowly beating the Clippers 111-109. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated Charlotte 112-107, with an impressive performance from Anthony Davis, who recorded 42 points and 23 rebounds.
