Milan, Jan. 27 (LaPresse) – Genoa beat Monza 2-0 in Monday evening's Serie A Week 22 match. The Grifone imposed themselves at home with two goals scored in the second half after Pinamonti's mistake from the penalty spot in the first half: De Winter opened the scoring in the 61st minute and Vasquez closed the scoring in the 84th minute. The team led by Patrick Viera thus climbed to 26 points, while the red-and-whites remained at the bottom of the table with 13 points.
