Rome, Jan. 24 (LaPresse) – ‘The Australian Open final will be broadcast free-to-air on Nove on Sunday, January 26 from 9:30 a.m. live from Melbourne Park. It will be the third Slam final for Jannik Sinner, reigning champion in Australia and winner of the last US Open’. Thus the Discovery broadcaster in a note. ‘Jannik Sinner will face ATP number 2 Alexander Zverev, also in his third Slam final, but defeated in his previous two by Dominic Thiem (US Open 2020) and Carlos Alcaraz (Roland Garros 2024). The match will be simulcast live on Eurosport 1 and live streamed on Discovery+. The match will be pre-match with all the most famous faces of tennis on Eurosport – Boris Becker, Jim Courier, John McEnroe, Mats Wilander Slam champions and authoritative pundits – and commented by Jacopo Lo Monaco and Barbara Rossi.Sinner and Zverev have faced each other six times in their careers and on four occasions the German has won. In previous Slams, Jannik took the first challenge at Roland Garros 2020, while Zverev won twice at the US Open. In their last match, Sinner defeated Zverev last year in the semifinals in Cincinnati. Meanwhile, tomorrow, Saturday 25 January, another date with history: the men's doubles final with Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori will be broadcast exclusively on Eurosport 1 and Discovery+ after the women's final at 9:30 am between Aryna Sabalenka and Madison Keys.
