The Lombardi took the lead in the fourth minute with Daniel Maldini, who took advantage of an assist from Curria, but then suffered the reaction of the red and blue that equalised in the 22nd minute with Castro from a cross by Orsolini, and then overtook with Odgaard in the 34th minute with a precise diagonal shot. In the second half, Italiano's team managed without too many risks and Orsolini sealed the win in the 69th minute with the third goal.
