Turin, Jan. 8 (LaPresse) – Fabio Cudicini, the former Roma and AC Milan goalkeeper, known as the ‘Black Spider’, has died at the age of 89. The Rossoneri club announced the news. Cudicini was the father of Carlo, himself an international goalkeeper. 'The Spider's web on our Rossoneri heart. Forever,’ reads the Milan club's note. ‘Fabio Cudicini, champion of everything with Milan, great goalkeeper and great person, has passed away. The condolences of all the Rossoneri to his son Carlo, who grew up in the club, and to the whole family. Ciao Fabio’. Born in Trieste on 20 October 1935, before joining AC Milan Cudicini wore the shirts of Udinese (1955-58), Roma (1958-66), with whom he won a Scudetto (1963-64) and a Fairs Cup (1960-61), and Brescia (1967-72). In five seasons with the Rossoneri he won a Scudetto (1967-68), a Champions Cup (1968-69), an Intercontinental Cup (1969), a Cup Winners' Cup (1967-68) and a Coppa Italia (1971-72).
