Rome, 14 May (LaPresse) – "The Council of Ministers, on the proposal of the Minister for Regional Affairs and Autonomies, Roberto Calderoli, has examined eleven regional laws and has therefore decided to challenge Sardinian Regional Law No. 8 of 12 March 2026, entitled: ‘Regional regulations concerning the establishment of the Study Income (REST)’; as certain provisions, exceeding statutory powers and conflicting with national legislation, violate the principle of reasonableness referred to in Article 3 of the Constitution, as well as Article 81, paragraph 3, regarding financial coverage". This is stated in a note from Palazzo Chigi.
