Rome, 3 May (LaPresse) – When asked whether the centre-right is facing difficulties and losing support following its defeat in the referendum, Luca Zaia, in an interview with Corriere della Sera, replied: “A crisis? Absolutely not. Given that those in power in Rome do not need my advice, it is normal that following a referendum like this there should be a debate with turbulence in the air, but we must continue the journey and reach our destination. Certainly, this government enjoys broad support and the public expects to see the programme implemented. At times like these, we must focus on that.”
