Rome, Mar. 24 (LaPresse) – Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will not request a confidence vote from Parliament following the defeat in the referendum on justice reform. Government sources report that a confidence vote would make no sense because there is no crisis within the majority supporting the executive. Regarding media speculation about a possible meeting between the Prime Minister and President Sergio Mattarella, the same sources clarified that no meeting at the Quirinale with the Head of State is currently planned.
