Rome, 19 February (LaPresse) – On the ruling revoking the detention of the Sea Watch ship and ordering compensation to the NGO, ‘I saw the Prime Minister's post and I fully agree with her. I thank her for not hesitating to denounce something that seems totally absurd to us. I don't want to get into the referendum controversy, but I believe that a measure that makes it increasingly difficult to enforce laws in Italy should be condemned.’ These were the words of Senate President Ignazio La Russa at Rome Ostiense station on the sidelines of the inauguration of the “Train of Remembrance” dedicated to the Giuliano Dalmata Exodus. “It is clear to everyone,” added La Russa, “how abnormal this ruling is, which seeks to reward those who rammed an Italian law enforcement vessel”.
