Rome, 2 February (LaPresse) – Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has just arrived at Palazzo Chigi to chair this morning's meeting, as announced yesterday on social media, “to discuss the recent threats to public order and to evaluate the new regulations in the security decree”. The meeting, convened after the clashes in Turin during the demonstration for the Askatasuna social centre, is also attended by Deputy Prime Ministers Matteo Salvini and Antonio Tajani (the latter via video link from Palermo), Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi, Justice Minister Carlo Nordio, Defence Minister Guido Crosetto, and Undersecretaries Alfredo Mantovano and Giovanbattista Fazzolari. The heads of the police forces were also present at the government headquarters.
