Rome, Jan. 9 (LaPresse) – “The Italian government has been working daily for 400 days on the case of Alberto Trentini, but as we know Alberto Trentini is not the only Italian detained in Venezuela. We have done this and continue to do this by mobilizing all channels – political, diplomatic, and intelligence – and we will not stop dealing with this matter until Mrs. Armanda can embrace her son again. I have spoken several times with Alberto’s mother and clearly understand her pain and difficulty. It is very painful for me too not to be able to give answers in the time I would like to, as I imagine you know.”
This was said by the President of the Council, Giorgia Meloni, at the start-of-year press conference held in the Chamber of Deputies’ parliamentary groups’ hall.
