(LaPresse) – ‘We are talking about a wealth tax, it is not on the agenda, for us who are a progressive force, it is absolutely not our goal.’ So said M5S leader Giuseppe Conte speaking on Sky Agenda on Sky Tg24. ‘When it was discussed, there was talk of a legislative change at a global level, at least at a European level, but we are talking about taxation on assets of over €100 million,’ added the former prime minister, who continued: ‘The real wealth tax is the one that this government has placed on the shoulders of Italian families and businesses.’
