Rome, Nov. 5 (LaPresse) – The National Unity and Armed Forces Day of November 4 "also represents a warning to remind the new generations from every part of the world not to take, in order to resolve disputes, the path of violence and war that produces deposits of pain and resentment, a prelude to future conflicts." Thus spoke the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella during the ceremony of awarding the insignia of the Military Order of Italy, on the occasion of National Unity and Armed Forces Day. "The international situation has assumed, unpredictably, worrying characteristics and modes: we are facing a context of great complexity, in which the Armed Forces are required to have new technologies and new skills, necessary to face threats to peaceful dialogue in compliance with international law," added Mattarella.
