Rome, 20 October (LaPresse) – "I extend my condolences and sympathy to the family of Raffaele Marianella, the Pistoia Basket driver who was tragically killed during an inconceivable act of violence at the end of a match. What happened near the Rieti-Terni motorway is a cowardly and senseless act that has nothing to do with the values of sport and I strongly condemn it. I hope that those responsible will soon be identified and punished with the utmost severity." So said Senate President Ignazio La Russa on social media.
